there are a lot of splashing fruit&veg pictures around, but they are always fun to make, because the results are somewhat unpredictable. I like taking pictures of smoke for exactly the same reason.


It would be much better to have a bigger vase or even an aquarium with completely flat surfaces, but we avoid buying any stuff that is not completely necessary right now, in preparation for the move. The setup we use is a lot more achievable and can easily be seen from the picture below. But it requires Kirill to be quite precise when dropping the apple, as the opening of the vase is small.
